Stock Market Holiday: The question in the minds of those investing in the stock market is whether there will be trading in the stock market on Wednesday i.e. 17 April 2024 on the occasion of Ram Navami (Ram Navami 2024)? Tomorrow, the festival of Lord Ram’s birth anniversary i.e. Ram Navami will be celebrated across the country. This is one of the major festivals of Hindu religion. In such a situation, the question arises whether there will be trading in the stock market tomorrow or there will be a holiday (Share Market Holiday). NSE and BSE will remain closed on Wednesday i.e. 17 April 2024.

According to the list of stock market holidays released by the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange, the markets will remain closed on the occasion of Ram Navami on 17 April 2024. Along with this, trading in equity segment, equity derivatives and SLB segment will remain closed on Wednesday. At the same time, currency derivatives and interest rate derivatives are also going to remain closed on Wednesday. Multi Commodity Exchange will also remain closed for the first session and will open for the second session i.e. between 5 pm to 11.30 pm.

There will be holiday in banks in these states also-
Apart from the stock market, there will be a holiday in banks in many states tomorrow on the occasion of Ram Navami. According to the list of holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed on April 17 in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur. In such a situation, if you live in these cities then you should do your work in advance.
