A shocking case of accident has come to light in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, in which after the accident, the Innova driver kept driving the car for 18 kilometers with the dead body on the roof of the car. After this, he left the car along with the dead body at a deserted place and ran away. The police have traced the owner of the car. However, he has not been arrested yet. Police have registered the case and started investigating the matter.
According to the police, the matter is of Atmakur mandal of Anantapur district. Here an Innova car and a bike rider collided head-on. After this, the Innova driver continued driving the car for 18 kilometers with the dead body on the roof of the car.
Police could not find the bike rider
According to Atmakur SI Munir Ahmed, a two-wheeler was found in a completely damaged and dilapidated condition near NH-544 D at around 8 pm on Sunday. The police tried hard to search for the bike rider, but despite many efforts, no trace of him could be found. The police were still trying to find out about the bike rider when suddenly at around 8:30 in the night a call came from a villager.
Innova found parked 18 kilometers away
The villager who called told that an Innova car was parked about 18 kilometers away from the place of the bike. The dead body of a young man is lying on the roof of this car. As the investigation progressed, it was found that the bike belonged to Yorisami, a person living in a nearby village, whose dead body was lying on top of the car.
Body handed over to family members after PM
The villagers told the police that as soon as the villagers informed the police about the car, the driver of the car immediately fled from the spot. Police said that they have identified the car owner. However, no arrest has been made yet. After post-mortem, the body of the deceased bike rider has been handed over to the family. Further investigation is underway.
