Apple Upcoming Software Update: Apple is in the news these days regarding its iOS 18 update. It is being told that the company is going to present its upcoming update during the WWDC event 2024 to be held in June. Now news has come out regarding this update that AI features will be included in it, after which the experience of iPhone users will change completely. According to a report, talks have been held with Apple’s OpenAI to bring generative AI to the iPhone.
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple and OpenAI had talked about a deal earlier this year, after which the pace slowed down. The report says that Apple and OpenAI are in talks to provide a feature like chatbot in iOS 18.
Can make agreement with both
Earlier, Apple had discussed with Google to license Gemini AI chatbot. The Bloomberg report further states that Apple may eventually enter into an agreement with both OpenAI and Google or choose a vendor for its chatbot.
What can be new in iOS 18
Earlier in Mark Gurman’s report, it was told that iOS 18 users will be offered a much better personalized homescreen than before. This new operating system is being seen as one of the biggest iOS updates in the company’s history.
According to reports, this new software update of Apple is expected to provide app sideloading feature, after which users will be able to download and install third-party apps. Along with this, iOS 18 can also enable Third Party Payment Gateway for app subscription, which can reduce the subscription fee by up to 30 percent.
